Land-Dweller Mod "White" Watch

This watch is so well made, it catches eyes and compliments genuinely everywhere I go. The green dial is an acquired taste as it does color change from light to dark green depending on how the light catches it, so sometimes it can make legibility a little difficult in certain settings. Nonetheless it’s a show stopper and a great conversation piece. The jubilee band is also a fairly decent quality, my only grievance if any would be that often times the pins require some tightening if you’ve played with resizing it. My first but certainly not my last from Somerville Watch Co.

Heard about the Seiko Mods and was a little sketched out about it.. did a lot of reviews and even bought a skrolex from DHgate. This style of watch is what I wanted and glad I came across this page even tho I spent my money on DHgate and had to spend a few more to get this. On top of that I wanted to help the company as its making some head turning watches at a reasonable price. Will be looking to get another one in the near future. Excellent watch and you can't really appreciate the dial until you're outside.

But beware. It was a big leap to buy a watch at this price. Now that I have, I'm looking at watches that cost even more.

You can't help but be curious about what you can get at higher prices. Your wallet has been warned haha

Overall good watch! looks nice. Very good prices, am already thinking of getting another 1-2 watches from yall! Would love to see a 36mm variant of the datejust even! Also the reliable movement is a plus.

I would say the case thickness of the watches could use some improvement (largely due to NH35 movement), they feel a bit slabby, maybe some adjusting could be done to feel more comfortable on the wrist.

Case and dial are excellent, what I expect! Bracelet is subpar, I’d gladly pay an extra $30-$50 more for a significantly upgraded bracelet.

I'd been looking at various watches, but liked the look of the "R" company. There was no way I could afford a real "R" and clones were too risky. I came across Somerville and got the look I wanted with the confidence of using a Seiko base. Highly recommend the watch and the vendor. I look forward to ordering more!

This watch is such a striking statement piece! I love it…it’s exactly what I’d been hunting for. I’m a woman who wanted a larger face with bold but classic appearance. The cyclops lens showing the date is perfect! The only thing to improve is the closure clasp…it is very stiff to open. There’s a smaller over-clasp that is easy, but the big clasp piece is tough to open. I think that will get better in time. Overall, I’m very happy with it! I added a beautiful diamond peace sign dangle charm and I’m thrilled with it all! Thank you!

Somerville Watch Co is a LEGIT USA owned & operated company. Do your research folks- there are a lot of scammer mod watch companies out there-Somerville is NOT one of them. In addition to their reviews, there are numerous other testimonials on Reddit. I even got a follow up email directly from the owner, making sure I was satisfied with the product. The quality far exceeded my expectations, and I recieved my "in stock" watch within 2 business days with tracking provided. Additionally, they had far more inventory of pre-built "in-stock" watches than anywhere else I shopped, where most others would build as needed (meaning longer lead times). This is a new company and I highly endorse them- I live in North Carolina with no ties to Somerville and took a gamble and pulled the trigger. So glad I did! So if you are on the fence, I am leaving this review to provide peace of mind. They are a legitimate USA company offering a high quality product with unmatched support. Pull the trigger like I did- I am conficent you will be impressed.

Really impressed with this watch. The weight, the feel, the look. All better than I expected. This is perfect for my int’l trips when I don’t like taking my ‘real’ luxury timepieces. But also great for a day or night out! This is the epitome of understated elegance.
