Introducing the GMT Mod "Explorer" Dive Watch - a stunning addition to any watch collection. This men's watch boasts a NH34 automatic mechanical movement, ensuring accuracy and reliability, as well as the ability to track up to 3 time zones at once.

- Case Material: Polished 904L stainless steel, GMT inspired case with screw-down crown.
- Bracelet: 904L stainless steel Oyster bracelet with secure-fit, double-locking clasp and glide-lock functionality.
- Dial: Premium, GMT dial with luminescent, hand-applied indices and a silver metallic logo. GMT text in orange.
- Water resistance: Individually tested to 3bars/30m of water resistance using stationary pressure testing. Watch is safe for light splashes, rain, and hand washing, but not for swimming. Water damage is not covered under our 1-year warranty. Dial markings indicating greater or lower depth ratings are for aesthetic purposes only.

What is a Mod?
A Mod is a custom, modified watch (hence the name: Mod). Each watch is hand assembled by us.
Our watches begin with a genuine, Japanese movement. We take this movement, and complement it with our own custom-produced dials, hands, cases, and bracelets. The specific movement used is listed in the description for each of our products.
Somerville Watch Company is not affiliated with any other brands. We are an independent watchmaker, and each watch we sell includes a 1-year in-house warranty. Since these watches are custom-made by our company, they will not include a papers.
Why do you use custom parts?
The answer is simple: because there is simply no way to deliver the premium aesthetics and functionality that we strive for when using fully stock watches as a base for our mods.

What is the difference between a Mod and an OEM Seiko watch?
Somerville Watch Company is an independent watchmaking workshop based in Somerville, MA. Every watch we sell is hand-assembled by us, built from genuine Japanese movements combined with custom-produced components - crafted to deliver an aesthetic you simply won't find off the shelf from an OEM manufacturer like Seiko.
Each of our Mods is a custom creation, carefully inspected and tested before it leaves our hands. We don't cut corners, and we don't dropship. What you get is a watch built for you, backed by our 1-year in-house warranty.
Where are you located, and do you have a physical location?
As our name implies, we are located in Somerville, Massachusetts.
We are an e-commerce only business, with no plans for opening a physical location.
For logistical reasons, we are unable to offer local pick-up from our workshop. We do however offer free shipping to all customers, regardless of their location.
How fast will my watch arrive?
For the most accurate delivery estimates and pricing, add an item to your cart and enter your mailing address at checkout. The checkout page will then populate with real-time pricing and delivery estimates provided by our delivery partners.
Shipments within the U.S. are FREE and arrive within 2-5 business days, depending on your location and distance from Somerville, MA.

I bought this and it is made very nice and solid. The bezel turns very well. Movement is ok. The GMT hand turns good. What to be expected as advertised. I got some compliments from friends and family they thought it was a Rolex. Highly recommended.

Really loving my watch, I’ve been wearing it a little over a week. The band pops so much with the silver with essentially chrome in the middle of the jubilee band. I caught a handful of people stealing looks at the diner the other morning, already ordered the Sprite. It does look darker in low light than it does in the picture on the site. It’s much brighter in the sun and closer to the pictures on the site when the sun is right on it. I own a Breitling Super Avenger and feel every bit as good wearing this watch out.

I must admit I was having a hard time at first because it’s my first automatic winding watch but I’m loving it. It looks amazing and I keep getting compliments. The only downer for me is the no more than 36 hours wearing requirement or the clock will stop.

EDIT: I'm glad we could sort out the issues you were having, and thanks again for updating the review. Usually we find that you can get around 40-45 hours of power reserve with NH34 movements. You may just need to give it a few extra winds.
